| ANTI-NARCOTIC CELL |
|
The Anti-Narcotics Cell of TIM Training College has been established with the primary aim of ensuring a drug-free campus. A strict ban is enforced on the use of drugs and alcohol by students.
• The cell is responsible for organizing awareness programmes in the college • Encouraging peer monitoring among students to discourage drug use • Reporting any drug-related incidents to the Students’ Affairs Committee
In recent times, the widespread use of narcotics in and around educational institutions has become a serious concern. Drug dealers often target students, not only as users but also as carriers. Hence, it is vital for teachers and parents to unite in the fight against this threat. With this noble intention, the Anti-Narcotics Cell of our college was formed. We aim to guide our energetic youth by educating them and simultaneously warning them about the serious consequences of substance abuse. We maintain close contact with the Excise and Police Departments, organizing programmes to make students aware of the strong legal framework in place against narcotics. These initiatives also aim to instil respect for parents, teachers, and the Indian judiciary.
